Spring is finally here and this week is actually stacked. Here are 5 things happening in the city March 30 through April 5 that are worth your time.

1. NYC Fringe Festival kicks off Wednesday

New York City Fringe starts April 1 and runs through April 19 across venues including UNDER St. Marks, Wild Project, The Chain, and The Rat NYC. Tickets start at $7 pay-what-you-can for a lot of shows this week.

2. JAPAN Fes is on the Upper West Side this Sunday

JAPAN Fes hits the Upper West Side on Sunday, April 5 from 10 AM to 6 PM. Free to walk around, good food, easy to go with friends. One of the better casual outdoor events of the spring.

3. The New York International Auto Show opens Friday

The Auto Show opens at the Javits Center on Friday, April 3 and runs through April 12. Interactive attractions, hands-on vehicle experiences, and honestly just a fun one to walk through.

4. Yankees home opener Friday at 1:35 PM

Yankees vs Marlins at Yankee Stadium, Friday April 3, first pitch 1:35 PM EDT. For select 2026 games some seats go for under $10, so worth checking before you assume it's expensive.

5. Art x Fashion at FIT is free

Art x Fashion is on view at the Museum at FIT through April 19. Over 140 objects exploring the crossover between fine art and fashion. Free admission, no excuse not to go.

Bonus: The Orchid Show at NYBG runs through April 26. Mr. Flower Fantastic's Concrete Jungle is the theme and it's been getting a lot of attention this spring.

That's the week. Forward this to someone who needs plans.
